Last Week

well, this is my last week in the country, well not country but pretty much. if i had my crew with me i would go skydiving and climb the grain mills and do some of the crazy stuff we used to do. but its kinda weird the more i think about it, thats what people would do that were not going on a mission. now i just want to spend time with family and enjoy just being home and being in my comfort zone. but i know that it will be just as awesome to go on a mission in Mexico. But on Saturday a bunch of people from the ward and i are going paintballing and that will be super fun

Look who i saw

at the Kids Choice Awards two weeks ago. But you know what you should do

Dang it

ok i so was all sweaty after a long 16 mile bike ride through the forest of grapevine texas and i was driving my big truck with a brush guard and cool stickers on the back while wearing my aviators when suddenly a bright yellow Hummer H2 filled to the brim with very cute girls going home from the races at Texas Motor Speedway pulled up along side of me and began a crazy 7-on1 "flirting" session. after a 8 mile stretch of road and several stoplights together a wrote doen my number and while driving 65 miles-per-hour passed my digits to the very attractive young women and turned to go home. after about 2 minutes i began to wonder why there was no new text message waiting for me on my phone, then after 45 minutes i was going through the writing process in my head and instead of writing 682-557-6248 i clumsily scribled 682-577-6248. tarter sauce. and that is how my day was......

Dinner

We start off with a slow simmered grilled plank, freshly caught sockeye salmon, basil strewn and blasted with organic grown lemon. Next, gutter raised asparagus and to be honest i didn't do much to it. topped with a 72 Chardonnay. aka Concord-black cherry juice, and that's dinner.

My Dream

Mountain Biking in BC

Being home alone isn't what it seemed

Well being home alone is pretty sweet.... for 5 days, after that, with no friends and sketchy weather and 17 channels on the tube it get monitinous and boring. kicking a soccer ball at the house and jumping on the tramp until fatigue sets in is what my days intale. so i try to make the voyage of the nearest fun bike trail and shred that up until the sun goes down. or i just look at all the fail videos(videos of people doing stupid things and falling and over just failing at things). yes the past four post have been roughly an hour apart and i really hope i don't keep that stat up but i love blogging. its like a journal that you want people to read. and Ice Blue Raspberry Lemonade Kool-ade maybe the best drink Ever!

Recent Movie Reviews

1. Horton Hears a Who
a fun movie with vibrant colours and many cute animals. It had a good story and very entertaining for all audiences, but what Jim Carrey movie isn't. The new thing with animated movie is to have as many funny and well known celebritie voices as you can. With a cast like Jim Carrey, Steve Carell, Seth Rogan and the beautiful Isla Fisher, it's always a fun challenge to try and figure out what voices your hearing as you watch the movie.
2. Jumper
Ok movie with an awesome idea for a normal person to have such a sick gift and try ans live just like a normal person. but i just didn't translate to the big screen with a mediocre cast with the exception of Samuel L. Jackson.
3. 27 Dresses
Pretty lame chick flick, even on a plane this movie just didn't capture my attention as much as Hannah Montana: Best of both worlds in 3D did. the story just kept on creeping by with no real humor or romance.
4. Drillbit Taylor
Owen Wilson come in with another hart hitter. with plenty of teenage humor and a interesting view on homeless people. great movie to watch as your doing laundry
5.How to Lose Friends and Alienate People
Humorless comedy focused on what can happen when you set your goals soley on obtaining worldly things and aspirations. But with Megan Fox and Kirsten "Dunce" leading the cast there is some reason to watch.
6. 21
Great black jack adaptation that follows a couple of math nerds and their goal to out think the game of "21" and come home thousand-aires.
7. Baby Momma
Very clever and redbox worthy film with an SNL all star cast of Amy Pohler, Tina Fey and ancient Steve Martin and new comer Dax Shepard from Punked. will leave you quoting and laughing all day.
8. Wall-E
Pixar really outdid themselves with this children's movie with think unlying enviromantal message that will leave you wanting to recycle. Even with the 15 minutes of dialage the film is an excellent child enthraller.
9. The Incredible Hulk
Not to be overlooked by its horrible predicessor "the Hulk" this film is wicked adaptation of the beloved comic book hero-villan. Edward Norton shows that he can even be a action-film all star along with the self relient elf turned damsel leading the cast.
10. 10,000 B.C.
Eh, Camille Belle is pretty cute
11. Valkyrie.
Tom Cruise leads the WWII action thriller based on the close Aldolf Hitler assasination attemp. Cruise feels at home with a pistol on his side and delivers a compelling story that leaves you with a compelling need to throw a dart at a picture of Hitler's head
12. Speed Racer
Wonderful adaptation of the old cartoon that screams to be viewed in Blu-Ray and a 94-inch 1080p wall screen. directied by the Wachowski brothers (Matrix trilogy) is a crazy thrill ride that is great for all audiences and is packed with knee slappers.
13. Indiana Jones- Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
With Harrison Ford and new-comer Shia Lebeouf, what could go wrong? Alot apparently, the final sequence involves the usual calapsed building rutien but with the involvment of napping aliens that lead the Myan people to success.
14. Iron Man
Oh Snaps!
15. James Bond Quantum of Solace
Ohh Snaps! Either because of Ford's Hydrogen cars secret publicity stunt or the raw fights and gadgetless Bond this one is an instant classic
16. The Dark Knight
Oh My Snaps! Pre lighting grip screaming Cristian Bale fits the Batman Costume excellently along with the scary and amazing Heath Ledger climb in to your brain and taze it with 100,000 volts.

Broken XBOX?

well, today i was going to break out the old xbox and race some sweet Trevor customized cars BUT when i turned on the system and had some sweet tunes playing, the xbox froze and so i turned it off then when i continued to push the power button again a waited a few seconds and THIS happened ..Look up.. and if anyone doesn't know, this is commonly known as the Red Ring of Death, that means that your xbox is donzo aka just throw it off a cliff. the only ways to salvage the precious entertainment system is to one: wrap towels around it so it cannot disipate the extreme heat built by the machine and the seams that have broken loose "weld" back together. or you can take it appart and do some crazy stuff that i can't do. SOOOOOO.......... no more xbox :(
P.s. i will post a new one if the display flashes green

So..

i thought it would be a good time to create a blog given that i have mass amounts of extra time on my hands and everyone has one. well this blog i will only talk about my future plans upon returning from my mission. i will come home in April 2011 and go to Canada and work in the forest in British Columbia and be a forest firefighter and shoot the "hotspots" of the flames and repel from a helicopter. next i will contact BYU Hawaii and see if they are still accepting my application to attend that fine school of learning and of surfing...what? next i will go back to B.C. and resume my 3 year dream of becoming a professional Mountain Bike Rider and get the bike listed. the Specialized Demo 9 and live in B.C. and just hit the trails everyday. and then go back to Hawaii and get a first class education from that prestigious institution. And then the rest is up in the air
